Sun 'n Fun in Florida!

We just returned from a great trip to Ft. Myers Beach, Florida with Jenni & Dottie. The weather was perfect -- sunny & warm every day. We did some fun things like going for an air boat ride through the Everglades where we saw porpoise and alligators, visiting a bird sanctuary (the pelicans were fun to watch), walking the sandy beach (several times), eating some delicious grouper sandwiches, and dancing the last night at The Beached Wale!

A Great Day for a Hike!

It was a great day for a morning hike on Thunder Trail -- a 2 1/2 mile trail through woods and prairie grass with a view of Lake Perry from time-to-time.

We also walked around the building site for Jenni & Dottie's new country home in rural Oskaloosa. What a beautiful view overlooking the pond, trees & hillside!
